A NEW LANGUAGE AND NEW BEGINNINGS
First of all, we congratulate the students who managed to get into French colleges after a very difficult preparation process. In this article, we will talk about both the process of getting involved in a new education system and the process of learning a new language. Although the subjects remain the same on a branch basis in French colleges, where subjects parallel to the Turkish national education system are taught, expecting students who have learned French by studying the preparatory class to follow this information is undoubtedly a situation that needs to be worked on. Although success may occur spontaneously in rare cases, it is of critical importance for students to assimilate the language, get used to the element structure, and further their knowledge of terms through reinforcement and subjective studies.
Being a Prep Class
What will happen now at the French college you studied for a year and entered, perhaps due to family guidance, or perhaps purely by choice? Firstly; French is a difficult language (!) It is useful to agree on the part. French can be learned and improved like any new language, with the right perspective and a little interest. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to express yourself in both English and French, especially since it is still among the most popular and active languages spoken in the world? Moreover, it is a good achievement to be able to notice different, sometimes funny expressions in the language, and sometimes to see the origins and real spellings and meanings of words that have entered Turkish.
New friendships
You feel the same as everyone else. First days of school, a completely foreign building, no one knows each other. If you're lucky, you may be in the same school as a few of your friends. It will still be necessary to communicate somehow. After all, you will be with the people you will meet all year and be with for 4 years of high school life. With some of them, you can even become inseparable and enroll in the same university together! Learning a new language together with people, many of whom will learn a language for the first time with you, is a completely different life experience.
Historic School Buildings
Buildings in the most beautiful districts of Istanbul, which have already passed a century and are on their way to completing their second century, some of which are already two centuries old... It is possible to come across fine workmanship, architectural details and large areas in the buildings where every student would want to study. These buildings are like reflections of history. Be sure to explore your school during breaks, get lost in its corridors, smell the flowers in its garden, and look at the trees. Enjoy your school.
